What is Insanity?
Insanity is a 60 day workout programme that is lead by "Shaun T". The programme involves working out for 6 days a week for less than an hour (as of week 4).
The workouts consist of high intensity exercise with short 30 second rest periods.
What do I need?
- Copy of Insanity
- Empty floor space and enough room to jump as high as you can (ideally with your arms up)
- I just wear some shorts (not even trainers)
- You will definitely need water (I put two bottles in the fridge overnight)
- A towel - you will sweat a lot!
- Open windows/good ventilation
- Pen & paper to record your fitness test results
What would you recommend?
- Weigh yourself and take your before pictures (before you start Insanity)
- Take measurements before (stomach/arms/thighs/bottom/chest/hips/anything else...)
- Take repeat photos/weigh ins every week/every two weeks
- Some Pharmacies such as Boots have a body fat scale - comparing my body fat % / BMI etc on these is the sign of real progress
