Pizza Pie

Would you like one of these?
It's easy to make, very cheap and most importantly of all - tasty!

To make four pizza pies....

To make the dough:
1kg flour
7g yeast
600ml warm water
pinch of salt

To make the sauce:
Chopped tomatoes
2 x garlic cloves
Dried oregano
Splash of juice from a jar of jalapenos

Toppings:
Up to you!
I just used two sausages, some chillis and some cheddar cheese and herbs

A round pot
Large bowl for mixing/making the dough

-----------------

Instructions:
1) Put the yeast in the warm water (to activate it)
2) Mix in the 1kg of flour
3) Then kneed it for a while (push it around and beat it on a large chopping board)
4) Place the dough in a bowl and let it rise for an hour (cover it with a tea towel and leave at room temperature)

Simples!

Now for the sauce:
5) Mix (ideally blend) all of the sauce ingredients.

After the hour has passed

6) The dough will have risen (hopefully) - put it on a chopping board covered in flour
7) Kneed and divide it in to 4 equal pieces (for 4 pizzas! - Freeze any you don't want today)
8) Add some olive/cooking oil to the round pot - to stop it sticking once it is cooked
9) You don't need to spin the dough around your head - just stretch it out and put it in the round pot

Like this:

10) Spread the sauce
11) Add your toppings (I squeezed the meat out the ends of two sausages per pizza - strange feeling! This made some meat balls, I then broke up some cheddar cheese pieces that melt down. Experiment - add the cheese you love! lol)
12) Put it in the oven for 20 minutes (190 degrees) - Don't let it burn!
13) Enjoy
