Stoptober (no booze or junk food)

Now that I have completed Insanity, I have decided to take on my own version of Stoptober. Instead of stopping smoking like others in October, as a non smoker I have decided to stop booze and junk food.



Insanity saw me complete 63 days of exercise, without the weight loss I was hoping for!

Since completing insanity I have returned to jogging and even ran 10 miles the other weekend.

However, since the end of insanity up until now I have started to shift quite a few pounds. My total weight loss since day 1 of insanity until today is 1 stone! I haven't been this light dare I say it, for a few years now! 

The main challenge of Stoptober for me is the weekend, after a busy week I enjoy a few drinks to relax, to accompany a film or whilst watching a football match. I've also grown up with takeaways and fast food. 

My logic before October was that I exercise and have a healthy diet through the week, surely a few drinks and a takeaway at the weekend can't be that bad.

Well two weeks in to Stoptober and I'm starting to think differently and see the difference on the scales! 

I'm determined to see this through until the 1st November and to see the results, but I am (already) really looking forward to my next beer or Chinese takeaway! 

So a few benefits from this - weight loss, detox and it will no doubt save some money! Watch this space!
