2) Latest video games Fifa 14, Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty Ghosts - if any avid gamer doesn't own them already, these titles will appear on many Christmas lists!
3) Tablets (electronic not medical!) from the popular but pricey iPads to many other brands and budgets. For work or games, surfing the Internet, watching films, social media or for a new way to read books!
4) Amazon voucher - Not quite sure what to buy someone, or not sure what they already own? An amazon voucher will cover most interests!
5) Make a calendar websites such as Vistaprint make it very easy and low cost to make your own calendars. A great way to be creative - from holiday snaps to photos with a funny story - a great way to keep someone smiling throughout 2014
6) Let him/her pick If you are reading this list, this is one of my favourite ideas. Treating a loved one to a day out - perhaps pick a favourite destination or try a new city. Perhaps a few drinks, a nice lunch and letting them pick out a gift can be a fun day out.
7) Event Tickets Possibly to combine with number 6. Event tickets to see a loved ones favourite comedian, musician, show or entertainer. Or perhaps to be part of a live TV audience. Certainly something to look forward to!
8) 2-4-1 mini cruise! Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Bruges, Ostend?
9) A Vine - A mobile app that basically lets your record a 6 second video. Sending and receiving Christmas video messages would make a heart warming gift - especially for those you may not be with on the big day. (Or you could use other apps/methods for a video chat or to send a longer video) You could be creative and perhaps create your own Christmas speech!
10) Charity From taking part in Mission Christmas to a charity of your choice, whilst many of us are spending money on gifts, food, drinks and decorations, I think we should all take a moment to consider making a donation (no matter how small) to support a good cause.
