Do you enjoy a takeaway?

Your usual from the Chinese? Don't forget the prawn crackers! A pizza with friends? Or how about a kebab on your way home from drinks in town? Mobile technology and the internet is changing everything, this posts looks at how technology is delivering results for the takeaway business.

In collaboration with JUST EAT, here is a run down of Sheffield's Top Ten Takeaways...

Before tucking in to the list, I have somehow found myself as a JUST EAT fan. You may have seen the latest TV advert with the mini fist pumping, used the app or website yourself or even noticed their international and year on year growth. 

JUST EAT combines technology and food very well. You can quickly browse takeaways in your area, see which will deliver to you, browse cuisines , filter by best rated takeaways in your area, read or leave reviews, browse the menus and of course place an order and select a delivery time. 

The app works very well and has introduced me to takeaways and dishes in the local area that I would have perhaps never discovered. The reviews and ratings help you make an informed decision and end up with a takeaway you will hopefully enjoy. 

On the flip side I presume it helps improves sales for the takeaway businesses that sign up to JUST EAT.
